Litigation

The market-leading reputation of Ilyashev & Partners, with its fouroperating offices in the country, had a flourishing caseload. Baker & McKenzie provides expertise in civil, commercial, administrative and criminal disputes, including complex cross-border matters. The notable highlight of the Kiev team is successful representation of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih in long lasting 4 years of administrative court proceedings related to recognizing its rights to extract oxidized ore at one of its mines. The dispute resolution work of Dentons is mostly of a cross-border nature. The majority of cases handled involve more than one office. For example, the firm acted for the recognition and enforcement of an international arbitration award in Ukraine of Czech Export Bank arbitration vs. Kuzminetskyi Brickyard in the Czech Republic.
